A continuous citizen consultation, led by AfricTivistes

The Pan-African Online Citizen Consultation is an AfricTivistes platform dedicated to the expression, listening and participation of African citizens on issues of democracy, human rights, governance and fundamental freedoms. Developed in 2023 as part of the Charter Project Africa, it now hosts several consultations, one after another or at the same time, and the contributions gathered feed into documentation, awareness-raising and advocacy.

From consultation to advocacy

Contributions that count

For each consultation, the contributions gathered are analysed and reported back. The main concerns, proposals and recommendations that emerge can be brought to decision-makers and institutions at national, regional and continental level, while also being shared with participants and the communities concerned. This approach aims to strengthen the link between consultation, documentation, reporting back and advocacy, and to foster a more continuous dialogue between citizens, civil society and African institutions.
